Sandy Koi
Sandy is an experienced Everglades guide with a particular interest in the ecosystems found in the “Big Cypress” swamps and the “River of Grass”. She brings a wealth of knowledge of insects and other arthropods from her previous employment with the University of Florida Entomology/Nematology Department in Davie, FL. She studied biology at Florida Atlantic University, and is currently studying at Nova Southeastern University in the Environmental Science Department. She is continuing her research on a rare coastal butterfly found only in South Florida, leading ultimately towards her P.H.D. Her humor, good nature and passion for the Everglades assure your adventure will be a fantastic experience.
