Rocky Sullivan
Rocky began his lifelong interest in ecology and animal behavior at an early age. Mentored by the late Marlin Perkins, and captivated by the works of Raymond Ditmars, Konrad Lorenz and Niko Tinbergen, he pursued a career in the natural sciences. Rocky became a Coast Guard licensed captain and operated his own charter boat business in Florida specializing in the ecology and fauna of the estuaries and near coastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. He continued his education and was awarded the first Dr. Charles O’Niell Award for outstanding accomplishments in the Geosciences. Rocky loves to share his enthusiasm and knowledge of this unique and special place, the Everglades. |
