Jason Calleri

"Jason Calleri is a true Florida Cracker – having been born and raised in southern Florida. Since he was a young boy he has fished and explored the many canals and lakes of south Florida including Florida's largest lake - Lake Okeechobee. The wildlife that he encountered along the way has fueled his passion for ecology ever since.

Jason is a herpetoculturist, working with many reptiles including crocodilians and the venomous snakes of Florida and is a licensed venomous reptile keeper in the state of Florida. He has contributed his knowledge and skills in zoological establishments such as Lion Country Safari and Gatorland where he had the opportunity to work with large alligators and crocodiles. He is always happy to educate anyone about the Everglades largest predators along with the other wildlife found there.  Jason shares his passion for Everglades conservation through the Everglades Day Safari and will ensure you have a fun, educational and entertaining adventure.
